Photoshop CC is an immensely powerful application which can seem daunting at first: with this one-day course you’ll learn about essential topics like retouching, layers, masking and colour management.
This course is ideal for those who have little or no experience with Photoshop CC and the aim is to get you up and running with a number of essential key skills by the end of the day. This is a ‘hands on’ day and with a maximum of 4 students on each course, there will be ample time to practise your skills. We’ll supply you with image files to work on and you can bring some of your own if you would like to.
This workshop is limited to a maximum of 4 students.
If you subscribe to Adobe’s Creative Cloud photography plan every month but only use Lightroom, this is a great opportunity to utilise to the unparalleled editing power of Photoshop CC and get your money’s worth!
Each of student will have sole use of a powerful Windows PC for the day in our purpose built training centre. If you would prefer to bring your own laptop or Mac running an up to date version of Photoshop CC, that’s absolutely fine too.
In order to benefit from this course, you will need at least basic computer skills.
● Basic tools – Cropping, Cloning, straightening.
● Image Optimisation – Hue & Saturation, Histograms & Levels, Colour Curves.
● Selections & Layers
● Exporting images for printing or the web
Once you arrive each day we look after you until 4:00pm! You won’t have to go out to find somewhere to get lunch or bring sandwiches.

David studied Music at Oxford University then worked as a musician and teacher before becoming a professional portrait photographer.
David has travelled widely and has spent recent years working in some of the most beautiful parts of the world. Now based near Bath, David works extensively with musicians, ballet dancers, stage actors and other performing arts professionals to produce publicity and editorial photography.
