♥♥♥♥♥ Jasmine – This was a really enjoyable day in a lovely small group! Great for consolidating existing knowledge, and also for learning and experimenting with new knowledge. Fiona is very encouraging, and an excellent teacher. The venue is perfect, and the photoshoot in the abbey, with Fiona’s expertise alongside, is not to be missed!
♥♥♥♥♥ Steve -The Beginners Digital Photography Course (Part 2) is a great day learning how to make the very best of my camera. Fiona was a great teacher, taking time to explain and encourage. Lacock provides an excellent venue – a huge variety of subject matter. Thoroughly recommend Lacock Photography.
ONE DAY COURSE – 10.00AM – 4.30PM
The Beginners Digital Photography Course (Part 2) is for those keen to develop the creative side of their photography and improve the sharpness, exposure and impact of their images; both when taking photographs and subsequently when enhancing images on the computer.
The Beginners Digital Photography Course (Part 2) is held in our purpose built training studio in the village of Lacock – “the Birthplace of Photography” and is a mixture of tutorials, practical demonstrations and hands on practice with your own camera.

The Tutor – Fiona Turnbull
Fiona has been in love with photography since her very early days growing up in Glasgow. Fiona clearly remembers her first camera, a Kodak Instamatic and how great it felt when she bought an Olympus Trip when she was 16! Fiona has developed her skills through self-study, attending courses at local colleges & training providers – alongside lots of practice and deletion of images!
In 2011, Fiona and her husband Andy set up a new photography business located in Lacock, the “Birthplace of Photography”. One of the few photography training schools to own its own purpose-built premises, the business has grown year on year to become one of the UK’s leading providers of photography training. Fiona is an experienced tutor who specialises in developing and encouraging students who are at the start of their photographic journey.
Fiona has a wide range of photographic interests and is particularly keen on people, animals, flowers and nature photography. In addition to delivering photography training, Fiona regularly presents external talks on compositional techniques & flower photography.
