James has been working in training full time for over a decade and in 2018 took on a role managing ProHides – a wildlife photography project on an organic farm in Wiltshire. Previously James had been responsible for the development of courses and tutors at Jessops Academy photography school and helped thousands of customers from beginner level up to the working professional to get more out of their equipment.
Because of his career, there’s not much that James hasn’t photographed! He’s been fortunate enough to travel in pursuit of wildlife and sports opportunities as well as photographing events and commercial work in the UK. Nowadays it’s not unusual to find him tracking down wildlife or working on a new camera trap on the organic farm where he works.
In terms of equipment, James has had extensive hands on experience with pretty much all brands – he currently shoots on a mixture of Sony and Canon equipment and strongly believes that 3rd party equipment should never be underestimated.
