These digital photography workshops explore the wonders of the great outdoors, in both its wild and manmade forms. If you are into wildlife, landscapes, astrology or architecture, we have a course that’ll be up your street. 

Astrophotography

Our astrophotography workshop introduces students to the wide range of astronomical phenomena which can be photographed using an ordinary digital single lens reflex camera (without a telescope). 

Bath Photo Walk

During this fascinating three-hour walk, you will photograph the most photogenic locations in Bath whilst being given the technical and compositional support you need to take stunning images.

Birds of prey Photoshoot

If you are a keen photographer, looking for some tips on better composition, technique or advice on how best to use your camera in wildlife photography situations then this is the course for you!

Birds of prey Workshop

The objective of the course is to improve your bird photography skills in controlled conditions amidst natural settings. The group will meet at the West of England Falconry Centre near Bath, where Fiona will cover the main components of taking a successful wildlife image.

Creative Flower

This one day course has plenty of hands on practice with a range of creative table top set-ups which include working with frozen flowers, flowers in water and using camera movement to create an impressionistic feel to your images.

Night Photography

If you are currently taking a shot-in-the-dark approach to your night photography, this is the course for you! During our practical and informative evening workshop, you will learn the photography techniques you need to become a skilled night time photographer.

The Water’s Edge

Led by Tony Worobiec FRPS, the workshop explores the photographic opportunities offered by the UK’s wonderful coastline. The course aims to develop participants ability to capture emotive images of the UK’s coastline.

Wildlife Photography

Photographing animals and birds in the wild is one of the most exciting genres of photography! We are delighted to run this workshop with the permission of WWT Slimbridge and Wild Place Project and to support the fantastic work they do.
